I had someone who wanted some purpleheart pens, and then wanted some cases. I searched and no one has purpleheart pen cases. So I made some on my own. The pens I turned, the cases I had to hand carve with sharp tools.

I had someone who wanted an outdoor clock. I had an osage orange wood slab with a crack. I filled the crack with blue tinted resin. I knew osage orange was used as fence post in the pioneer days due to its resistance to the weather. I still used linseed oil and the spar urethane to finish it after burning in the numbers. I also hand carved out the back for an exterior movement for the clock and used some walnut for the hands. A beautiful clock to enjoy.
